Dear all,

The department of Quantitative Clinical Pharmacology has an open position f=
or a modelling scientist, preferably with PK/PD modelling experience.

We are based in Copenhagen and support the entire Novo Nordisk development =
portfolio, with population PK/PD modelling and simulation.

Challenges
As modelling scientist you will have an important role in the development o=
f new drugs at Novo Nordisk, taking part in planning, conducting and report=
ing of population PK/PD and exposure-response analyses at all stages of dru=
g development. You will also take part in developing innovative solutions f=
or clinical trial designs, strategies for optimising the use of quantitativ=
e analyses to answer key drug development questions and contribute to regul=
atory documents.

Cross-functional collaboration with colleagues in Discovery, Preclinical an=
d Clinical Development will be an integrated part of your work.

Qualifications
You hold a university degree in a relevant area (Statistics, Engineering, P=
harmacy, or other), preferably with a supplementary Ph.D. You are fluent in=
 English both orally and written.

Preferably, you have several years of industry experience in applied statis=
tics, including mixed effects modelling, as well as pharmacokinetics. Moreo=
ver, you have a good knowledge of modelling software such as S-PLUS and NON=
MEM. But you may also have a more broad pharmaceutical or engineering backg=
round, with extensive training in statistics and mathematical modelling, co=
mbined with a strong desire to further develop and apply these skills in dr=
ug development.

You will appreciate an informal atmosphere, and will act as a dedicated tea=
m player. As your colleagues will come with different academic backgrounds,=
 good communication skills are essential.
