The Children Hospital of Philadelphia is offering a postdoctoral fellowsh=
ip position in clinical pharmacology and pharmacometrics.  This fellows=
hip is focused on the application of pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic/phar=
macogenetic/disease modeling and simulation to facilitate the drug develo=
pment in industry and improve patient care in academic setting.  Fellow=
 has the opportunity to gain a breadth of experience including: populatio=
n pharmacokinetic and mechanistic modeling of the biotechnology drugs (th=
erapeutic monoclonal antibodies, antibody-drug conjugates and others); di=
sease modeling to study the combination effects of several approved drugs=
 in cancer patients, population pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic/pharmacog=
enetic modeling of buprenorphine/midazolam/morphine in pediatric patients=
 from NIH-funded studies.  The fellow is also has an option to involve =
in other projects such as the development/evaluation of the advanced nume=
rical and computation methods for population data analysis, and pharmacog=
enetic study to assess the effect of FcRn expression on the antibody disp=
osition in adult and pediatric population.  An ideal candidate will h=
ave a doctoral degree (PhD, PharmD) in pharmaceutical science, biology, e=
ngineering, pharmacy or other related field and have experience or famili=
arity with mathematical modeling, such as NONMEM, MATLAB, R, or any other=
