Thanks, you're right that I'm making it more complicated than needed. I
like the CMT1, CMT2, ... CMTALL solution.

Related to my other post this afternoon with $ABBR, I'm trying to minimize
parameter name recoding, too.

Hi Bill,

I do not think this is possible, but you are making things more complicated
than needed. You can slice the data set as needed using IGNORE/ACCEPT
options. For analytical ADVAN models, you often do not need CMT item, and i=
f
needed, you can introduce extra columns CMT1, CMT2, CMT3, and CMT4, for eac=
h
of the 4 drugs, and CMTALL for the combined model. So the only thing that
would be needed is to re-code parameter names and theta-eta-eps indices whe=
n
you combine 4 models in one. This step would be needed any way.
