ADVAN6 does not overshoot. The others do. ADVAN8 does not have an option available to avoid overshoot (at least I could not find one looking through the code). ADVAN9, ADVAN13, ADVAN14 and ADVAN15 (all from Livermore Labs), have the ITASK option to control overshoot behavior, and I can have this option controlled at the control stream level.
